First, make sure you have printed to the correct printer. I have set all the computer to print to the copier in your building by default.
If there is a temporary problem with a printer (such as out of paper), the printer queue is paused and you have to restart the queue manually. You will see a printer icon in your dock with a yellow triangle that contains an exclamation point. It may also be "bouncing" in the dock. You need to attend to the issue (such as putting paper in). Don't just print again and again as you will get many copies of your job when printing resumes. If you click on the printer icon, there will be an option to resume printing such as "Resume Printer."
Note that this window can also be used to delete or hold print jobs.
